First Visit
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Deciding to go to therapy can be an uncomfortable and intimidating process. Scheduling an appointment can be a courageous first step. If you’re ready to explore the possibilities of finding peace and well-being, therapy is right for you.
The first session is an assessment of “good fit” between the client and the therapist. Ideally, you will feel a high degree of comfort, safety, and trust with your therapist. Once the therapeutic relationship has been established it can be periodically reviewed to ensure it is meeting your therapeutic needs.
