What services do you offer?

We provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy for all ages—children (2+), teens, and adults. Specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, eating disorders, addiction, OCD, faith transitions, self-harm, and more. Therapists use CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, IFS, EFIT, Gottman Method, expressive arts, play therapy, mindfulness, and somatic approaches.  Learn more about our services here.

How do I find the right counselor?

Visit our Find Your Counselor page to explore bios and specialties. If it’s not the right fit, we’re happy to help you switch therapists. We also offer free consultations when needed to help match you with the best therapist for your needs.

What ages and client groups do you see?

We work with clients ages 2 and up—children, teens, adults, couples, and families. We welcome people from all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ clients and those navigating religious, cultural, or identity-based transitions.

Where is your office located?

We are located at 3319 N University Ave, Suite 100, Provo, UT 84604, just north of BYU campus.

Do you offer telehealth sessions?

Yes, we offer secure telehealth video sessions for clients anywhere in Utah. All you need is a stable internet connection and a device with a camera (camera optional).

What are your business hours?

We’re open Monday–Thursday 9 AM–8 PM and Friday 9 AM–12 PM.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule by calling 801‑356‑0014, emailing office@palisadesmh.com, or filling out our interest form through the Contact page. Once you’re matched with a therapist, you’ll receive forms to complete before your first session.

Do you offer consultations?

Yes. We offer free consultations if you’d like help choosing the right therapist or have questions before starting. Just contact our office or the therapist you want to see to request one.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 55–60 minutes. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations and no-shows are subject to a fee, insurance does not cover missed sessions. We may make exceptions in cases of emergency.

What are your fees and what insurance do you accept?

We accept:

We accept credit cards and HSA cards. If you’re not using insurance, we can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please contact us directly for self-pay rates.

What paperwork is required?

Before your first session, we’ll send you digital intake forms. These include questions about your mental health history, current concerns, and personal background, so your therapist can be fully prepared to support you.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is important to us. Therapists may only break confidentiality if:

  • There’s a risk of harm to self or others
  • Child, elder, or dependent abuse is suspected
  • There’s a court order or subpoena
  • Your insurance company requests documentation
Will you testify or provide documents for court?

Our therapists do not typically testify in court. With written consent, we may provide a treatment summary or other clinical documentation when appropriate.

What credentials to your therapists hold?

Our clinicians hold a range of licenses:

  • LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
  • CMHC/LPC – Clinical Mental Health Counselor/Licensed Professional Counselor
  • PhD/PsyD – Doctoral-level Psychologists
  • CSW/ACMHC – Supervised Associate Clinicians

All therapists are trained in evidence-based approaches and participate in regular supervision and professional development.

How soon can I get started?

Once your paperwork is complete and your availability is confirmed, we can often schedule your first session within a few days, depending on therapist openings.

How do I reach my therapist between sessions?

You can email or call your therapist directly. For anything more than a brief check-in (5–10 minutes), we encourage scheduling a session.

What free events do you offer?

We host community wellness workshops and events throughout the year. You can stay updated on upcoming events here.

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes! We make our best effort to get clients in to see one of our therapists within a few days but availability varies for individual therapist’s schedules. Call or text us for more details.

What if I'm in crisis?

If you’re in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911. For non-urgent support between sessions, let us know—we’ll connect you with helpful resources.
