Malia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received her Master’s of Social Work from Boise State University. Her passion and expertise is working with both children and adolescents as they navigate the challenges of depression, anxiety, suicidality, self-harm, past and present traumas, ADHD, LGBTQ+ as well as other life challenges.

Malia is also qualified to treat adults and works with a client-centered approach and incorporates other modalities such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused, Mindfulness and Trauma-focused. By using a client-centered approach Malia aims to meet clients with where they are and empower them to get to where they want to be.

Malia loves to spend time taking adventures with her husband, especially tropical destinations. She loves to be active and grew up as a dancer. She is an avid reader and movie watcher. Malia grew up in small-town rural Idaho and loves to be outside, just not on a hiking trail.
